A new season is upon us. It’s spring! In 1655 Anne Bradstreet said, "If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome." And this from Robert Frost:
Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers today;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
You can match the season change with spring-themed art prints on your walls. If you like Chinese characters, here’s an art print with the character for spring. Another Asian themed art print is called Pagoda in the Moonlight and features cherry blossoms as well. Of course we know Georgia O'Keeffe for her floral paintings, but less familiar to many are the art prints of Pierre-Joseph Redoute such as Iris Pseudacorus.
